Update

Friday afternoon update. If you received this email, you are on the Lower-end updates (Old Stage, Central Point) list. You can edit your subscriber status by following the unsubscibe link below. We saw a drop in the water on Tuesday but the flows returned to normal late that night/Wednesday morning. Things look consistent with water through the system for the weekend. We have 1,286. Acre feet left in our Emigrant supply and we are releasing 49.5 acre feet per day. We are doing our best to put the water to beneficial use and keep water through the entire system with little waste. As the creek flows rise and fall we may experience periods of time where the water falls short of the end of the system. It seems to consistently fall short around Tuesday/ Wednesday. We have been working to keep any interruptions as short as possible. We are bringing more water from Fish Lake around through the East side to try and help take the burden off our dwindling supply in Emigrant. The Board will meet next Wednesday, August 14th @ 1:30 to discuss water supplies and a target for the end of irrigation season. In the meantime, I will keep these updates as an additional resource to stay in the loop. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office @ 541-899-9913 or email via the Contact-us link. Have a great weekend!
